In the challenging terrain of the Rancho Mission Viejo hills, the Ben’s Asphalt team demonstrated exceptional technical mastery by paving 7,500 linear feet of roadway featuring extreme slopes of up to 22%. This high-intensity project required the precise application of 4” of asphalt over a 12” cement-treated base, a specification designed for maximum structural stability on steep grades. With safety as our absolute priority, we collaborated closely with GMU Engineers & Geologists and Precision Cold Planing to ensure every technical requirement was met with flawless execution. Thanks to the skill and dedication of our crew, this complex infrastructure project was completed on schedule, on budget, and with a perfect safety record, proving that no elevation is too steep for our team’s expertise.
